UPDATED!!

UPDATE MEDIUMS, UPDATED MY WEBSITE, AND EVEN UPDATED MY HAIR STYLE.... A LOT HAS BEEN CHANGED AND CREATED IN THE LAST YEAR!!!

While returning to my summers of teaching Art Camp, the world of Adult Coloring books became saturated. (Will those sweary coloring books still have sales from time to time.) While teaching, I was introduced to Alcohol Ink by my wonderful co teacher. As soon as I put ink to panel, I know I was addicted! (which she warned would happen) My first finished Alcohol Ink piece was Nightscape#1.

Nightscape#1

I used my new favorite medium to create 3 small pieces for our local galleries Petite Painting sale just before Christmas. This sparked an interest in Alcohol Ink class at the Oxford Arts Alliance. I began teaching adult classes there in February, teaching ink on tiles and yupo paper. Six months later and and another round of summer camp under my belt, I have started to add jewelry,

scarves,

ceramics, and gourds

to my list of classes. Nothing is safe from the ink... porous and nonporous surfaces a like. I am working my plans to teach art at the montessori school, Adult Classes at the OxAA, and Gourd Gatherings. And spend the rest of time preparing to make inventory for the Christmas season.
